The challenge
Just Padel does not run one padel club, it runs a network. More than 40 indoor and outdoor courts sit across 12 venues in Dubai and Abu Dhabi - Mina Rashid, Kite Beach, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai South, Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi and more - and almost none of them behave the same way. Opening hours run from 6am at Kite Beach to past 2am at the late-night venues. Court rates differ by site and by peak or off-peak slot. Mina Rashid has courts reserved for ladies-only sessions that must never surface in a mixed booking flow. Corporate partners such as DEWA, DP World, Emirates and Talabat have negotiated employee rates that only apply to their staff. Running that on phone calls, spreadsheets and a generic booking page meant double bookings, courts sitting empty at off-peak hours nobody could see, and no way for a player at one venue to discover the other eleven. Players also had no way to find opponents at their own standard, which is the single biggest reason a padel booking goes uncompleted.
Our solution
We built the Just Padel - Courts of Choice app for iOS and Android in React Native, on a Node.js and MongoDB backend with Socket.IO driving live court availability. One booking engine serves every venue while holding each site's own hours, court count, indoor or outdoor type, price list and peak windows as data rather than as code, so Just Padel opens a new venue by configuring it, not by shipping a release. Ladies-only courts at Mina Rashid are gated as a separate bookable inventory. Corporate rate codes resolve against the booking rather than needing a separate flow. On the player side the app carries a profile with a skill level and a games-played count, Padelpals connections, Host Games for open matches, Groups, a leaderboard, favourite facilities, a personal calendar and an in-app chat, so finding three other players at your level happens inside the same app as the booking. Each venue has its own page with a map and directions, timings, photo and video, star ratings, a full price list and a share link. Stripe handles payments, Firebase handles push notifications for confirmations and reminders, and an admin dashboard gives Just Padel utilisation, revenue and peak-hour reporting per venue.
The impact
Just Padel reports a 300% increase in court bookings, an 85% user engagement rate and 92% customer retention following the app rollout. The operational change is that court inventory across 12 venues became visible in one place: players who only knew their local site now book across the network, and off-peak slots that previously went unsold surface in the app alongside offers. Ladies-only sessions and corporate rates run through the same booking engine as everything else instead of being handled by staff on the phone. The per-venue utilisation and revenue reporting tells Just Padel which courts and which hours actually earn, which is the data an operator needs before committing to the next site. In a market that now holds more than 950 padel courts across over 320 UAE venues, that visibility is what separates a network of courts from a padel business.

Key features & capabilities
Real-time padel court booking across every venue
One multi-venue padel court booking system covering more than 40 indoor and outdoor courts at 12 sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Live availability updates over Socket.IO, and each venue holds its own opening hours, court count, indoor or outdoor type, price list and peak windows as configuration - so Just Padel launches a new venue without a new app release. Ladies-only courts at Mina Rashid run as separate bookable inventory, and negotiated corporate rates for partners such as DEWA, DP World, Emirates and Talabat resolve against the booking itself.
Player skill levels, Padelpals and open games
A padel booking is only completed when four players of a similar standard agree on a slot, so the app treats matchmaking as part of the booking. Every player profile carries a skill level and a games-played count, connects to other players as Padelpals, joins Groups, and posts open matches through Host Games for others to fill. A leaderboard, favourite facilities, a personal calendar and in-app chat keep the whole process inside one app rather than pushing players out to WhatsApp groups.
Venue pages, coaching programmes and offers
Each Just Padel site has its own page inside the app with a map and directions, opening hours, photos and video, player star ratings, a full price list and a share link. Coaching and academy programmes, tournaments and private or corporate event bookings are enrolled from the same place, and an offers feed surfaces promotions and off-peak deals against the venues a player already uses.
Operator dashboard for utilisation and revenue
Padel club management software built for a network rather than a single club: court utilisation and revenue broken down per venue, peak-hour analysis showing which slots actually sell, booking and cancellation patterns, and customer records across all 12 sites. Stripe handles payments end to end and Firebase push notifications carry confirmations, reminders and cancellation notices, so the admin work that used to sit with venue staff runs automatically.
