Nivas Fix - After-Sales Snag Tracking for a Real Estate Developer

The challenge
Energy Livingscapes hands over flats with a 365-day warranty, and like most builders, its after-sales service ran on phone calls and WhatsApp messages rather than a shared snag list. Every defect a buyer reports in that year - a stiff balcony lock, a damp wall, a leaking tap - has to reach the right site engineer and be seen through to the end. Complaints arrived by phone and WhatsApp, with no single record of what was raised, who owned it, or whether the warranty still covered it. Buyers had no way to see progress, the office could not see where work was stuck, and a buyer and their spouse would often report the same defect twice.
Our solution
Clevotics built Nivas Fix as three apps over one API - a customer portal for flat owners, a complaint management system for the builder's office, and a field app for site engineers. Flat owners use a web app or the iOS and Android app to raise a complaint with photos, see their warranty countdown, and follow every status change. Office admins work from a separate ops console to triage, assign engineers, reject with a reason, broadcast announcements and import units in bulk. Site engineers take, work and resolve jobs from the mobile app. Owners and engineers sign in with their mobile number and a one-time code delivered over WhatsApp with SMS fallback - no passwords to forget - and both the buyer and a second family member can sign in to the same account. Every owner-facing screen is available in English and Tamil, and all dates follow Indian Standard Time down to the warranty expiring at 23:59:59 on day 365.
The impact
Every defect raised during the warranty now has one record, one owner and one visible status, from raise to close. Buyers see exactly where their complaint stands and how much warranty cover remains, the office sees the whole queue and every engineer's workload in one place, and duplicate complaints are caught at the moment they are raised. Rejected complaints stay visible to the buyer with the reason, so nothing quietly disappears, and every admin action is recorded in an audit log.
Key features & capabilities
Owner Web and Mobile, Same Features
Flat owners raise complaints with photos, track every status change, see their warranty countdown, and close, rate or reopen a resolved job - identically on web, iOS and Android.
Ops Console for the Office
A separate admin app for triage and assignment, engineer coverage, bulk unit import, customer records, bilingual broadcasts and a complete audit log of every admin action.
Passwordless OTP Sign-In
Owners and engineers sign in with a mobile number and a one-time code sent over WhatsApp with SMS fallback. A buyer's second number reaches the same account, so families share one record.
A Ticket Lifecycle That Holds Up
A fixed status flow from pending to closed, one reopen within 7 days of resolution, mandatory rejection reasons shown to the buyer, and duplicate detection at the moment a complaint is raised.
English and Tamil Throughout
Every owner-facing screen on web and mobile ships in English and Tamil, and admin-written content that reaches owners, such as categories and announcements, carries both languages.
Push Notifications and Scheduled Jobs
Owners and engineers are notified the moment a ticket changes hands, and scheduled jobs handle warranty reminders and nightly backups without a scheduler running inside the app.
