The challenge
Ethnic Health Care needed to bring a traditional Siddha medicine practice online without losing the authenticity and trust patients associate with traditional healing. The practice runs its main branch in T. Nagar, Chennai and treats patients across Tamil Nadu, including through medical camps it holds in Madurai, Tirunelveli, Sivakasi and Nagapattinam - so the site had to publish camp schedules by city and take bookings from patients nowhere near Chennai. The clinic treats a wide range of conditions - infertility, PCOD, thyroid, psoriasis, diabetes, arthritis - and each one needed its own explanatory content that clinic staff could publish and revise themselves, without a developer in the loop. It also needed to answer patient questions outside consulting hours, in Tamil as well as English.
Our solution
We built a Next.js web application with a content management panel that non-technical clinic staff operate directly. Staff publish and edit treatment articles, run the searchable condition library that filters by male, female and general care, schedule upcoming medical camps across Tamil Nadu, and manage patient reviews - all without raising a support ticket. An AI patient assistant trained on Siddha treatment content answers questions around the clock in both Tamil and English, and hands over to appointment booking when a patient is ready. Online consultations run through secure video with scheduling, patient history, prescriptions, follow-ups, integrated payments and automated reminders. Treatment pages carry sourced Siddha references, and the site embeds the clinic's Tamil-language video library alongside a four-step patient journey from consultation to healing plan.
The impact
